A locker room build is the most visible upgrade a rink, school or team can make and it is a key differentiator for your program and recruitment of players and staff. Every team we have worked with has a specific vision, which is why our team diligently spends time with you every step of the way. All lockers ship fully constructed and ready for installation, so you can plan your room with confidence.
The locker series, compared
Every series is manufactured with premium Canadian wood throughout and delivers a professional locker experience. The difference is how much structure each locker provides and if your team prefers an open look or to keep traditional walls between each stall. Some options include a backrest for additional space and to keep the player in front of equipment hung on the back wall.

How many lockers, and how wide?
Complete team rooms usually incorporate 20 to 25 stalls. A common layout is 22 player lockers plus 3 goalie-specific lockers. Player lockers start at 24 in wide, which is the lowest price point. Widths from 25 in to 36 in are available at additional cost. Goalie lockers are typically requested at 36 - 48 in wide to provide the additional room required for goalie gear. Small quantities of 4 to 10 lockers are welcome for home gyms and small rooms on the x300 and x600 series. Top and bottom section lockers are designed for teams that incorporate their walls into the design or when a renovation keeps part of the existing lockers in the room. Corner units and corner shelving turns wasted space into vibrant usable areas for storage and continue the design throughout the room. Don't forget the media cabinet, as a carefully designed, elegantly-appointed media cabinet provides the room with a functional finished coaching focal point. All rows are fully finished on all exposed ends.
Finishes and team branding
Two finish families cover every room:
Clear urethane maple veneer in a matte finish. The urethane carries extra aluminum oxide, so it is more durable, scratches show less and the room keeps a modern wood look and feel. This is the standard finish. Laminate options include over 230 choices, so feel free to express your team however you wish! Most customers browse the Arborite collection and keep clicking "Load more items" until the right pattern appears. This adds to the overall cost, but it provides your very own unique look and feel, not to mention additional durability for the life of your locker room. Next, you have the opportunity to brand the room yours...so go ahead and add a team logo on each locker base, hand-crafted seat cushions utilizing marine-grade materials (in matching team colors), and of course name plates (included with every locker). In addition, electrical outlets, under-locker illumination lighting, etc. may all be designed into your lockers upon request. Our team has the ability to create anything you require, so the only real limitation is budget.
How the quote and drawing process works
Every room is quoted by hand, and an accurate drawing is the key to designing the room successfully. Send us a floor plan or CAD drawing of the room with accurate internal measurements, to ensure that we get everything right for your installation. If you only have a PDF version of your floor plan or a hand drawing, start with that. We will eventually prepare final locker room drawings for your sign-off approval before anything is built. This is extremely important to the success of your project and allows you to see exactly how the rows, corners, goalie stalls, stick rack, dry lockers and media cabinet fit within your space. Your quote also includes a dedicated trucking quote, to ensure that the truck goes directly from our warehouse to your install location.
Delivery and installation, honestly
Lockers are pre-built to your specifications and ship fully assembled and ready for on-site installation. The lockers are secured on a dedicated truck to eliminate all chances possible for damage through shipping. It is key for you to tell us the exact parameters around your building and inform us of stairs, narrow hallways, elevator, etc. which could possibly impede delivery. From there you have two paths: your own crew completes the installation, or we add non-union installation and travel costs to the invoice and our pro team completes the installation. Plan the calendar early. Production time is dependent upon your finish (laminate adds lead time), and our install crews book out ahead of the season. If the room must be ready for an October camp, start your quote in the spring to control your own destiny. Remember, the clock starts upon sign-off of your invoice and drawing and receipt of the required deposit.

Yes, raw material prices fluctuate due to market conditions, but you will have a pretty good expectation even before you obtain an official quote. Every room is quoted by hand from your drawing, so request a quote and you will have accurate pricing to match your exact layout.
What do you need from me to quote a room?
The room drawing (CAD preferred, PDF floor plans or hand drawings are also accepted), your locker count and widths, the finish, and a complete list of the options you require (cushions, logos, corner units, media cabinet, stick racks, dry lockers and installation preference). You do not need to remember this, as our quoting form walks you through each choice along the way and you may add any requests in the comments section.
Do you install the lockers?
Yes, we certainly do. Our pro team has completed installations across North America, so you may simply request this to be added into your quote. Installation includes travel so there are no additional surprises. Customers also have the option to use their own skilled teams for installation and every locker arrives pre-built.
Can the lockers fit sports other than hockey?
Yes. We also custom build lockers for baseball, football, lacrosse and multi-sport rooms at colleges, universities, schools and training facilities. Don't forget to add dry lockers to your request as well.
How long does a locker room project take?
It depends on your approval process, material availability, build schedule and installation timeline, so there is no one-line answer. Projects have been completed in as little as two-three weeks during non-peak times. The key is to get your room designed and scheduled for installation as quickly as possible. Remember that when your season starts, so does everyone else's who plays the same sport. We have a simple rule: first order with deposit in, is the first one out.
