Making pads as comfortable as possible is vital when introducing hockey to a young player. To keep him or her comfortable and mobile, CCM has developed a Super Tacks line that allows young players to hone their skills in lightweight pads that keep them safe. It's just a perk that the Super Tacks is also extremely easy to put on before practices and games.
Featured in the Super Tacks elbow pads is the E-Fit Sleeve. This feature makes it even easier to dress, as young players will be able to put the pads on quickly, even if they hit a growth spurt. The single strap adjustment also makes it an easy dress, as the fit and adjustable nature of the pad is a hit with young players. The floating bicep allows for mobility as the comfort foam moves with the player while continuing to protect him or her at all times.
The protection isn't sacrificed for the comfort, either. JDP elbow caps are lined with D30 Smart Materials to provide shock-absorbing, top-end protection. Instead of the player feeling every whack from a stick or errant puck, the D30 materials will absorb impact and leave little effect hitting the player's body.
The Super Tacks' adjustment abilities make this a pad you'll keep for a long time, rather than having to swap it out in a few months for a larger pad.
