Product Description
Thanks to input from NHL players, as well as leading biomechanics research, the RibCor 70K skates have been redesigned to match exactly what top-end players expect from their skates. The most optimized skating strides in hockey resides within the RibCor 70K skates.
FlexFrame Technology provides players with top-end forward flexion to generate power and lateral stability, maximizing energy transfer with every stride. Reinforcements are strategically placed through the core of the skate to assist in creating a bio-mechanically correct stride every time. The composite midsole allows for an increased blade-to-boot transfer, while the extra stiff carbon composite midsole with exhaust system offers torsional rigidity for comfort and the ability to move with ease.
Continuing with the maximization of strides theme are the SpeedBlade 4.0 holders and SpeedBlade Black runners. Both are proven to be durable, as you'll feel an increased attack angle and improved cornering, while a longer edge life is guaranteed with the runner. The blade is treated with oxide to provide a harder runner with a powerful resistance to corrosion.
The lightweight skate, which uses premium composite materials to reduce weight, includes a contoured heel and ankle lock system that replaces the need for the pump found in previous models. Multi-density memory foam also surrounds your ankles, providing an unmatched fit and comfort. Lock into your skate and forget about any wiggle room once you start moving.
The TotalDri Liner w/ Durazone abrasion protection is on the top of the chain as far as liners go, wicking moisture faster than others to keep your feet dry and the skates light. The Griptonite footbed locks onto your feet while providing excellent support and comfort. The TriTech Pro Tongue with molded lace-bite protection continues the comfort on the inside of the skate, while providing a three-layered, 7mm felt feel with HDPE foam to maximize protection to one of the more tender areas of your feet.
A step up from previous models, the RibCor 70K skates keep you protected and allow you to fly up ice faster than ever before. What more could you ask in a skate?
